Student Ministry Summer 2026
Summer Midweek:
This summer for Midweek Students, we will be having normal Midweek gatherings. The main difference is that we will not be having dinner provided over the summer, so students will need to eat before or after Midweek. We will spend some time playing games, some time in worship, some time in the Word, and some time in small groups. Students are able to get to the church beginning at 5pm, and Midweek will be 6-7:15pm. This will take place the following Wednesdays:

Weekly Lunch/Bible Study:
Every Thursday this summer, students are invited to spend some time at the church from 12-1pm. This weekly event is an event where students will bring their lunch (can be anything) to the church to spend some time in fellowship and Bible study.
Boys vs Girls Softball Game:
On 6/17, we will meet at the Malakoff High School softball field from 6-7:30pm for a game of softball, boys vs girls. This event is an opportunity for students to connect with one another and build relationships through competition. Please bring a glove and bat if you have them.
Sondays Camp:
We are so excited about camp this summer! Sondays Camp is the top of the line and is going to be an incredible experience. This years dates are 7/5-10 and the cost is $320. The camp is in Cedar Hill which is only about an hour away and goes from Sunday Night through Friday Morning. It is open to students that have finished 7th-12th grade. Frisco Roughriders Game:
On 7/18, We will meet at the church @3:15pm and plan to leave @3:30pm. We will drive to Frisco, make a stop for dinner, and then go watch the Roughriders play the Tulsa Drillers @7:05pm. With the game starting at 7pm, we will be arriving home late from the game. The game will cost $20 per person, and you must sign up by 7/11 at 11:59pm to secure a ticket. Mission Trip to FBC Moody:
On 7/19-23, we will be going to Moody, Texas to help FBC Moody run their VBS. There are not many spots available for this event, so please reach out to Coley at coley@fbcmalakoff.com for more information.
Lake Day:
Lake Day will take place on 7/31. While this event is free, we ask that you register so that we know how much food to get. Coley will get information to those who register. Please register by 11:59pm on 7/29 at https://fbcmalakoff.churchcenter.com/registrations/signups/3695187
Back to School Family Midweek:
On 8/12, we will have a special Midweek gathering. We are inviting all of our students and their parents to join us as we cast vision for the ministry and pray for the school year. This event will be at the church from 6-7:30pm.
